We met in our oldest children’s first year of Nature School, and we’ve been friends ever since! Between the two of us, we have 6 wonderful kiddos. Our oldests, our middles, and our littles are all within 6 months of their counterparts. Which means we are always in very similar ages and stages, for better or for worse. It has been wonderful!
Together, we have tried a couple of co-op groups around the Twin Cities. We kept saying things like, “Oh, if we could just combine the part of this one with that part of the other one, it would be perfect!” Finally, we decided to try out this thing for ourselves and see if we could create a slice of community that resonates with other homeschooling families.
Our dream is to build a tight-knit community of families who want to find a co-op rooted in shared responsibility, environmental stewardship, curiosity & wonder, community connections and teachings, growth over perfection.

Cameron
Co-founder, Therapist, Chicken & Coffee Obsessed
Hi folks, I’m Cameron! By day, I’m a mom to three amazing kiddos, five chickens, and one kitty. By night, I’m a Couples and Family Therapist who loves incorporating eco-therapy into my work. I enjoy bringing my Mental Health Counseling background into the co-op and consider it one of the ways I skill-share with our kids and families.
I love camping, paddleboarding, cycling, traveling, crafting, and tackling house projects. My happy place? Drinking coffee in the woods with a good book while my family runs free nearby (and maybe doesn’t ask me for anything for a little while hehe!).
You’ll likely see us biking around to friends’ houses, hammocking or picnicking at parks, or just generally running amok in the Twin Cities!

Co-Founder, Teacher, The Okee Dokee Brothers Fan girl
Hi friends! I am a mom to three kiddos, 2 cats, and 1 dog. I am a former classroom teacher and homeschool parent who believes learning grows best through curiosity, connection, and time spent outdoors. I love camping with my family, staying on our land up north, traveling, reading, and trying to live my life like a character from a Phoebe Wahl book. If I’m leading a nature craft, you will likely hear a little Okee Dokee Brothers playing.
